Crimson Tide fans are demanding he sport a specific gameday look. The team’s fate relies on it!

DeBoer’s outfit choices have been a talking point since accepting the job. He was criticized last year for his dressed down attire that many deemed unprofessional.

Nick Saban always wore a collared shirt on the sidelines. He often wore them when speaking to the media, too.

He’s often seen in a hoodie or t-shirt. That includes both in press conferences and on the sidelines. His appearance infuriated a number of Alabama supporters throughout his debut season.

Many referenced his relaxed fits when speaking about his on-field failures. If he won’t take his attire seriously, how can be expected to take his job seriously? (Sarcasm).

The discourse reached a tipping point after a loss to Vanderbilt. DeBoer refused to bend the knee.

Now, new demands are being made.

Alabama fans are begging for the hoodie!

The Tides have turned. Alabama is embracing the dressed down look, if not but for one reason – Wins.

DeBoer has coached 15 games for the Crimson Tide. He is 10-5 in that time. Nine of those victories came while donning a black hoodie on the sidelines.

Alabama was undefeated last year in the regular season with wins over South Carolina, LSU, and Georgia when DeBoer wore a black hoodie with black script. They only lost against Michigan in the bowl game in that specific top.

They beat Wisconsin 42-10 when the head coach sported a red hoodie but did lose to Oklahoma in a black hoodie with white script.

This year, he lost to Florida State in a crimson collared shirt. He won after returning to the hoodie against ULM.
