Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is taking a step into campaigning with non-traditional media as the Vice President of the United States has reportedly recorded an interview with the All the Smoke podcast.

All the Smoke is hosted by former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson and has over one million followers on YouTube. At this time, it has not been confirmed when the interview will be released. All the Smoke, however, does release weekly episodes and has yet to drop one this week, suggesting the Kamala Harris interview will drop before Friday.

In addition to its 1M+ subscribers on YouTube, All the Smoke also has over 913,000 followers on Instagram.

“Kamala Harris recorded an appearance on the All The Smoke podcast today, I’m told. It’s one of the more well-known NBA pods, hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, who both played on the ‘We Believe’ Golden State Warriors at the time when Harris was SF DA,” reported Max Tani of Semafor.

“The interview is reflective of her media strategy going forward: Engagement with local media in key states, some nontraditional digital media, limited national media.”

Harris is currently running as the Presidential candidate for the Democratic party against Republican nominee Donald Trump, the former President and first-ever convicted felon to run for the nation’s highest office. Trump has had a similar campaign strategy of utilizing non-tradition media, as he has appeared on podcasts hosted by comedian Theo Von and Twitch streams hosted by Adin Ross.

Election Day in the United States of America is on Tuesday, November 5. If you haven’t yet, you can register to vote at Vote.org HERE.

Jackson, 46 years old, spent 14 seasons in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs (where he won the 2003 NBA title), Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets), Milwaukee Bucks, and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Barnes, 44 years old, played in the NBA from 2004 to 2017 with the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors — where he won a title in his second stint with the team in 2017 –, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, and Memphis Grizzlies.
