The Kansas Jayhawks have historically been a terrible football program. After all, it is a basketball school.
The program had 12 straight seasons without winning more than three games, by far the longest streak in major college football in quite some time. They had become the laughingstock of the country.
But, that all changed this year when the Jayhawks suddenly became competent. Kansas started the year 5-0 before finishing 6-7 after a thrilling bowl loss to Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl.

Quarterback Jalon Daniels emerged as one of college football’s breakout stars. And, Coach Lance Leipold showed why he’s won at every stop in his career.
So, the program definitely has some momentum for the first time, seemingly in a generation. And, they used a unique way to reveal their schedule.
