Kansas State joins the Florida Gators as the big losers of the day. On Saturday afternoon, the Gators were stunned by USF at home after paying the Bulls $500k to play in Gainesville.
Kansas State would later top the Gators by paying Army $1.175 million to play a game in Manhattan, only to lose the game at home.

Army is also pocketing a seven-figure payday. Kansas State will pay Army a $1.175 million guarantee for the game, as FBSchedules previously reported. The Wildcats paid $475,000 for last week’s matchup against FCS North Dakota. Kansas State remains winless against Army.

Not only did Army get paid, but their coach, Jeff Monken, got an extra $50k in bonus money for his win against
Army, which lost last week to FCS Tarleton State, goes to Kansas State — gets $1.175 million guarantee — and a 24-21 comeback victory.
In addition, this will give Army coach Jeff Monken a $50,000 bonus for the win over a Power 4 team.
