Embattled FBI director Kash Patel testified at a Senate Judiciary Hearing on Tuesday, September 16 and further raised the temperature on the scrutiny he’s facing with his claims about Jeffrey Epstein. According to Patel, there is no evidence that Epstein trafficked underage women to anyone other than himself.
Patel — who is already under scrutiny for the FBI’s handling of the Charlie Kirk shooting investigation and his bizarre “I’ll see you in Valhalla” comments — seemed to set off both sides of the aisle with his testimony as he claimed that there is “zero evidence” that Epstein trafficked women to other people (an assertion that’s largely been rejected by the public in the aftermath).
“There is no credible information, none — if there were, I would bring the case yesterday — that he trafficked to other individuals. And the information we have, again, is limited,” Patel said to a line of questioning from Louisiana senator John Neely Kennedy.

If you head over to social media and search “Patel Epstein,” you’ll see that there are a plethora of skeptics on both sides of the aisle.
Beyond the left and the right, however, one subsection of people found themselves particularly perturbed by Patel’s pathetic presentation, and that’s… fans of Liverpool Football Club. Why? Because Patel showed up to the hearing wearing a tie with the club’s iconic crest stitched to the front of it, prompting a swath of annoyed reactions from LFC fans on social media.

On Wednesday, September 17, both Patel and Liverpool will be in action as Patel will be appearing before the House Judiciary Committee, while Liverpool will be kicking off their 2025/26 Champions League campaign with a home matchup against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
