WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Goes Viral For Leather Opening Night Outfit

Los Angeles Aces star Kelsey Plum made a statement on the opening night of the 2024 WNBA season before she even stepped foot on the court.

Before the Aces, the defending WNBA champions, tipped off last night Plum was making headlines as her stunning pre-game outfit went instantly viral on social media.

One of the main comments both on Twitter and Instagram was about Plum’s ex-boyfriend Darren Waller, as the pair recently split up, and how regretful he might be feeling about his decision.

“Darren Waller with the fumble,” is the most-liked comment on Plum’s Instagram post of her outfit.

The Aces 89-80 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday night wasn’t only their first win of the season but it was also the night they were presented with their championship rings for winning the title in 2023.

In the win over the Mercury, Plum played the most minutes on the team at 38 and scored 19 points to go along with 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

While Plum has been in the WNBA since 2017, she — thanks to the general rise of women’s basketball — has seen a massive rise in popularity this year.

Earlier this week, for example, Plum was one of the WNBA stars selected to model their new campaign with Kim Kardashian’s underwear brand Skims.

Plum, who will turn 30 this summer, was the #1 overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft and has been with the Las Vegas Aces franchise ever since. Listed at 5’8′, Plum has career averages of 13.7 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game. She helped lead the Aces, alongside MVP A’ja Wilson, to back-to-back WNBA titles in 2022 and 2023.
