Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman is always good for a funny quote every once in a while. The rookie was an instant fan favorite, and was a big part of a Buffalo team that won yet another AFC East title, their fifth straight.

On a recent podcast appearance, Coleman gave us another great one-liner. This time, it was about fruit snacks, of all things.

Coleman. a Florida State alum after transferring from Michigan State, was the first pick of the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft as the Bills looked to find their star receiver of the future after parting ways with Stefon Diggs. He had a solid rookie season despite being one of the youngest players in the league. Coleman caught 29 passes for 556 yards and 4 touchdowns in 13 games this year while playing the entire season at 21 in a run-first offense. Many expect Coleman to have a huge breakout season in 2025, as his physical talent and jump-ball skills as a former Michigan State basketball player is too much to ignore.

Coleman endeared himself to Buffalo fans pretty much immediately, creating headlines at his very first press conference as a member of the team.

He kept that up throughout the year. He hasn’t stopped in the offseason either, as Keon Coleman created headlines with hilarious comments on a recent podcast appearance. Here’s Pro Football Talk with more.

Appearing on the 7pm in Brooklyn podcast, Coleman reflected on his experience at last year’s Scouting Combine.

It happened in the speed-dating interview sessions that unfold nightly in Indianapolis hotels. The teams bring players into the rooms. The rooms have bowls of snacks. Coleman helped himself to some. And some of the teams apparently didn’t appreciate that.

“Teams mad I’m eating fruit snacks,” Coleman said, via Eva Geithheim of SI.com. “I’m like, ‘I’m hungry.’ I’m listening. Can I grab a little fruit snacks every now and then? Y’all got all the snacks in here. That’s just for show? . . . If you ain’t gonna draft me over some fruit snacks. . . .”

This reminds me of The Bachelor franchise, as they always have food for the contestants on dates. But, they never actually eat the date food! It’s a major faux pas to do so! It seems like NFL Combine food is the same thing.
