Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart spoke to the media this week with his Bulldogs gearing up for a Top 20 matchup against Ole Miss. Smart wanted to keep the focus on the Rebels, but not everyone wanted to speak about the upcoming contest!
A local reporter asked the coach a question about his wardrobe, prying into his decision making behind picking out a visor for each game. Kirby Smart was visibly peeved in his response.
“Coach, I hope you can have fun with this because it is such a big week football-wise,” the media member began. “You’re a visor guy, and you’re pretty rough on your visors during the game, and I’m sure you are at practice, too. So, just general question. How many of those do you go through?… What’s the process if you could just shed a little light on that?”
Smart’s reply was less than enthusiastic.

The head coach did not have fun with the question, as the reporter had hoped. “There’s no process,” he said in an annoyed, monotonous tone.
Kirby Smart is all business this week as he looks to get his team to 8-1 on the season.
That task will be a tall one with a trip to Ole Miss slated for Saturday. After struggling for much of last week against a banged-up Florida team, the Bulldogs are looking to rebound and make a College Football Playoff push.
They were ranked No. 3 in the latest CFP Poll, and should they win their next two games against the Rebels and Tennessee, they could play for an SEC title.
Visors aren’t on Smart’s radar at this point in the season. He’s coaching for championships!
Georgia and Ole Miss will kick off their Top 20 battle Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM.
