New York Knicks superstar Jalen Bruson gave fans a huge scare at Madison Square Garden on Friday night when he appeared to injure his hand while participating in a WWE segment.

Brunson stepped into the ring with WWE wrestler LA Knight to square off with YouTube star Logan Paul and Indiana Pacers all-star Tyrese Haliburton.

In the segment, Haliburton and Paul teamed up to threaten to Knight. But then Bruson stepped into the ring with a steel chair in order to defender Knight.

However, when he slid into the ring with the chair, she moved it too close to Paul and Haliburton. Knight then leapt to pull it back at the same time as Brunson

After the incident, Brunson could be seen flexing his left hand and looking down to make sure it was okay.

The segment ended without any fisticuffs and with all four people in the ring going their separate ways.

Several fans noticed that Bruson did not look right.

“Jalen Brunson grimaced at his surgically repaired hand while doing a spot on WWE. Would officially be the worst way to get hurt,” reporter Stefan Bondy wrote.

Jalen Brunson missing time bc he re-injured his surgically repaired hand at WWE Smackdown would be the most Mets a– injury ever,” a fan wrote.

Thankfully, it appears that Brunson was okay.

“Just lived out a childhood dream and yes the hand fine lol yall can relax 😂,” he tweeted.

Brunson is the key piece to a Knicks team that just added Mikal Bridges and many feel could challenge for an NBA championship in 2025.

If he were to get hurt in any situation it would be a crushing loss. But if he were to do so at a WWE event, Knicks fans might go throw themselves off one of the city’s many bridges.
