On Monday night, Mavs star Kyrie Irving was involved in an altercation with a Celtics fan.

During game 5 of the NBA Finals, Irving got a rude welcome from Celtics fans, who chanted “Kyrie sucks” all night long at the TD Garden.

At one point in the game, Irving hustled down the sideline and jumped into the crowd while attempting to grab a loose ball.

According to ESPN’s Mike Breen, a Celtics fan yelled something inappropriate towards him, which rubbed Irving the wrong way.

“Irving was upset … somebody said something inappropriate to him while the guy’s down on the floor, which was a disgrace.”

It’s unclear what the fan said to Irving, but it seemed like even Mike Breen was not happy with the fan’s behavior.
