Kyrie Irving was seen committing himself to the ‘Ball Is Life’ mantra after being filmed on a random beach in Greece teaching some kids how to play basketball on the sand.

It is hard to tell what the ball in his hand is, either an undersized rainbow basketball but it looks more like a volleyball to me which would make sense given that they are on a beach, but this moment goes to show how committed Kyrie Irving is to the game even while his NBA brothers on Team USA are in Paris going for gold and he’s left on the sidelines having to vacation in picture perfect Falasarna / Phalasarna beach, Greece.

Kyrie appears to have gathered a bit of a crowd while teaching these young Grecians about how ball never sleeps:

The Dallas Mavericks star was left of the Team USA roster after winning gold for Team USA back during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

It’s unclear whether Kyrie is salty about being left off the roster for Paris after being an integral part in the Mavericks’ success this season but based on this video and this video alone I’m inclined to think that Kyrie decided his talents would be much better utilized this Summer as a basketball ambassador to the world while he balled across European beaches.
