Charlotte Hornets star Lamelo Ball is getting ripped by NBA fans for his predictably immature response to getting into a car accident earlier this week. Ball, driving a camouflage Hummer, crossed over the dividing line and swerved into oncoming traffic.
According to reports, 24-year-old Lamelo Ball collided with a Kia Sedan at an intersection in downtown Charlotte on Wednesday, February 18. The person driving the Kia was treated by medics for minor injuries.

NBA fans are ripping Lamelo Ball for his immature response to causing a car accident in Charlotte earlier this week
After the Charlotte Hornets loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday night — in which Ball stunk out the joint, scoring just 11 points on 5-14 shooting in 31 minutes — the divisive point guard was asked about the incident and gave a sequence of immature and dismissive responses.
“Fortunately everybody is cool, so blessings. God is great,” Ball told the media when asked about the crash.
When asked why he left the scene, Ball said: “Nah, you gotta check in on that.”
When asked about the other person, Ball said: “I seen her get straight out of the car.”
“I’m alive and blessed,” he added. “God is great, like I said.”

“Walking out of there with his pants damn near around his knees is just the cherry on top to this 24 year old grown a– man acting like a dumb teenager still,” one NBA fan tweeted.
“‘Im just alive and blessed fr’ as he somehow swerves into oncoming traffic for absolutely no reason then gets up from the interview to show his a–… this n—- cooked bro,” another said.
“WTF is his deal? Just take some accountability and stop driving like you’re crazy. Is it that hard?? 24 year old grown man btw,” a third added.
“Just entitled. He clearly doesn’t give af and then wants to get irritated by reporters asking about the accident. This isn’t his first time being recorded driving reckless. Grow tf up,” a fourth bemoaned.
Lamelo has such a history of reckless driving in the Charlotte area that there are multiple videos of and anecdotes about his brazen disregard for the rules of the road.
