Lane Kiffin is suddenly a hot commodity in the college football world.
Kiffin, who is currently renegotiating his contract at Ole Miss, has been the subject of rumors since LSU and Florida fired their coaches.
According to Buddy Martin of GatorBaitMedia, the Gators are reportedly ready to offer Kiffin a 6-year deal worth $81 million.
“The deal they put on the table… 6 years 13.5 million for Lane.”

Ole Miss AD Keith Carter has already gone on record to say that he’s interested in paying Kiffin before the rumors get out of hand.

“I’d love to get something done like Indiana did with Curt Cignetti before the silly season starts. We’ll see. I believe Lane’s happy here, but you never know what can happen with coaches. That’s why I’m being proactive in this process.”
