Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was spotted on TikTok last week with daughter, Landry. In a “Get Ready With Me” video clip ahead of a game against Georgia Southern, the duo chatted about a variety of things ranging from Landry’s birthday plans to morning yoga sessions.

In the process, the coach dropped a few gems for followers.

Kiffin previewed Game 4, which happened to be Parents Weekend in Oxford. For that reason, his ex-wife came out to support as Landry attends the university in which her father coaches.

While Lane Kiffin more than appreciated her attendance, he couldn’t help but throw some lighthearted shade at ex Layla Reaves.

“She hasn’t been to a game all year, but we are ranked fifth in the country,” he said when pressed on the topic. “Everybody loves a winner.”

Layla Reaves is the daughter of former Florida Gators QB John Reaves. She and Kiffin got married in 2004 and have three children. They amicably split in 2016, though their relationship remains cordial as co-parents.

Hence, the playful dig.

Reaves got a chance to watch the Rebels take down Georgia Southern while making that debut in Oxford as Kiffin’s offense rolled up 52 points.

It’s a trend that’s been on display throughout Ole Miss’s first four contests.

The Rebs have now beaten every team they’ve played by at least five scores, outscoring their opponents 220-22.

Those performances have allowed them to slide into the Top 5 of the AP Poll, and their head coach believes they can stay there!

Landry Kiffin later spoke about her birthday plans, which would fall in mid-December. She’s got a trip to New York on the brain!

Her dad seemed onboard with the idea before remembering that he might have other obligations around that time.

“Wait, we’re supposed to be in the playoffs,” he said. “Hmm… Do you know anything about the playoffs?”

This year will be the first that sees a 12-team field, meaning game times and schedule will look a bit different than in seasons past. The initial round opens the weekend of December 20th.

Quarterfinals will follow on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day before the semifinals get sorted out on January 9th and 10th.

The final matchup is set for Monday, January 20th.

There may not be much free time should Lane Kiffin’s playoff prediction come true!

The Rebels have looked impressive thus far, but the path to the postseason gets more difficult from here on out. Ole Miss is set to play eight straight SEC games, starting with Kentucky this weekend.

We’ll see if the Lane Train continues to roll this Saturday.
