The latest reports regarding Conor McGregor are positive.

Earlier this week, the UFC mysteriously postponed Michael Chandler-McGregor’s press conference in Ireland for undisclosed reasons weeks before their June 29th fight in Las Vegas.

“Dear UFC Fans–

The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday, June 3rd, in Dublin, Ireland, at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you.”

McGregor went on to release his own statement that was similarly vague.

Since then, fans have asked for an update on the situation and have received zero feedback from the UFC.

On Wednesday afternoon, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani revealed there is “positivity” about the event going forward despite the mystery surrounding the press conference cancellation.

“As of today…I can tell you that there is great positivity that this fight is going forward, as of right now…is Conor McGregor to fight Michael Chandler on June 29th? I would say yes.”

Hopefully, the UFC will be able to clear up the rumors soon and allow people ample time to make their decision about whether or not to fly out to Vegas ahead of the fight.
