LeBron James Isn’t Sure If Brittney Griner Should Want To Return To America When She Gets Released

LeBron James is ready to talk about the Brittney Griner situation.

For the past 4 months, Griner has been detained by Russian authorities after she was allegedly caught with vape pens filled with hashish oil while traveling through a Moscow airport.

During a teaser for the upcoming episode of “The Shop,” LeBron questioned whether Griner should want to return to America after the ordeal is resolved.

… how can she feel like America has her back? I would be feeling like, ‘Do I even want to go back to America?’

While there is an ongoing outcry from athletes like LeBron to get Griner to come home, President Biden and other politicians promise that they are working on getting her released.
