LeBron James Faces Backlash For Defending Deshaun Watson From Cleveland Fans Who Cheered Injury

LeBron James is facing some heat for defending Deshaun Watson.

On Sunday, Watson suffered a devastating non-contact injury during the Browns’ home game against the Bengals.

Doctors on social media immediately said that Watson had likely ruptured his Achilles and his season would be over.

After the injury, some Browns fans could hear cheering during Watson’s injury.

Several Browns players, including Jameis Winston, blasted fans for cheering on Watson’s injury due to his controversial past and poor play on the field.

LeBron also decided to chime in on the situation between Watson and the fans.

“Cleveland Fans! Yall know how much we’ve been thru throughout the years both good, bad and indifferent. With that being said booing anyone that’s down with an injury let alone your own player is LAME AF!! To the ones who didn’t”

The NBA superstar would get crushed on social media for defending Watson, who has been at the center of nearly 20 sexual assault accusations.
