LeBron James may have put a spotlight on one of the most popular sites to illegally stream NBA games.

On Friday night, James pulled up to the Nike EYBL tournament this week to watch his AAU team, Team Strive For Greatness.

While at the arena, some fans filmed LeBron and his friends sitting courtside, trying to watch the Mavs-Wolves NBA playoff game.

It appeared that LeBron and Co. decided to use the illegal website StreamEast to stream the game instead of an officially licensed NBA stream.

Fans on the Internet were angry with LeBron for shedding light on StreamEast because they’re afraid it will get banned.

It is worth noting that StreamEast is extremely popular and has been hard for government officials to take down, so fans probably have nothing to worry about.

The NBA on the other hand will probably not be happy with LeBron illegally streaming games in public.
