Don’t expect LeBron James to miss many games during his 22nd season.
Last week, Sixers Joel Embiid found himself in hot water when he said he didn’t think he would ever play back-to-back games for the rest of his career.
“If I had to guess,” Embiid said, “I would probably never play back-to-backs the rest of my career.”
On Friday night, the 39-year-old LeBron was asked if he was going to sit out on the second leg of a back-to-backs and he had a very different answer than Embiid.
“I plan on playing every game”

Earlier in the week, NBA legend Charles Barkley criticized Embiid for his stance on back-to-back games.
“I was so disappointed in Joel Embiid saying he wasn’t going to play back-to-back games,” Barkley said. “You’re one of the three, four or five best players in the world. You cannot say as a leader of that team, ‘I’m not going to play certain games.’ That’s not the way to start the season.
“As the best player on that team, and a leader, I would never go into a season saying I’m not going to play back-to-back games. I thought that was a bad message.”
“It doesn’t make sense, the league isn’t that physical for him to say that” 👀
