LeBron James Has A Message For The Haters Saying The Lakers Are Too Old To Compete For A Championship

LeBron James has a message for the haters who are counting out the Lakers for being old.

For the past week the Lakers have acquired several big name free agents over the age of 30 as they make another run at the championship.

Carmelo Anthony — 37 years old
LeBron James – 36 years old
Trevor Ariza – 36 years old
Marc Gasol – 36 years old
Dwight Howard – 35 years old (turning 36 Dec. 8)
Wayne Ellington – 33 years old
Kent Bazemore – 32 years old
Russell Westbrook — 32 years old

Several critics like Colin Cowher have noted that the Lakers might be too old to compete for the championship this season.

"Los Angeles has become Green Bay, Wisconsin. You've talked yourself into something that's simply not true. The Lakers will now be the oldest roster in NBA history."
