LeBron James is apparently not for the kids. He yelled at a young fan for trying to take a picture with him outside a club in Paris after winning a gold medal at the Olympics and popping bottles with Team USA.

The hilarious sequence quickly shifted from completely serious to entirely unserious just moments later.

James, 39, was the United States’ biggest star throughout the tournament and earned MVP honors for the entire Olympic Games. It proved, once again, why he is the greatest basketball player of all-time.

His second half performance against Serbia in the semifinal was especially crucial in saving the USA from disaster. 14 points against France on Sunday was a nice way to cap an impressive tournament.

The well-deserved celebration started shortly after the final buzzer. But first, the stairs picture!

James kicked off a long night of partying by popping a bottle outside of the arena in France.

And then it was time to hit the club!

LeBron James arrived in style. However, he did not appreciate when a young fan ran up to him in the street and tried to get a picture. Not only did the Olympics MVP deny the young man a photo, he looked him in the eyes and told him off with a finger in his face. It was not nice.

The kid was visibly shook, even though he didn’t really do anything especially wrong, and might rethink his fandom after the interaction. Don’t be surprised if he goes full Buddy Pine from the Incredibles.

To make James’ reaction even more bizarre, his demeanor completely shifted as soon as he got to the door. The young fan got a tongue lashing for no reason!

I’m sure James did not appreciate being swarmed. I would imagine it happens a lot. I assume his reaction is mostly the same when it does happen. Fine.

In this specific instance, though, the young kid was by himself and wasn’t causing any problems! Surely LeBron James could’ve paused his gold medal celebration for just one selfie.
