The meeting among Kiffin, Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter and chancellor Glenn Boyce lasted more than three hours, if it started at the scheduled time of 3 p.m. CT. Vehicles believed to belong to Carter and Kiffin were seen leaving the site of the meeting, the Ole Miss chancellor’s home, at about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Dellenger goes on to report that Kiffin spoke with LSU representatives, who are sending out a plane for the coach and family to come to Louisiana on Sunday.

As they have now for a week, LSU officials believe they hold Lane Kiffin’s commitment to be their next coach, though his desire to continue coaching Ole Miss in the postseason is a snag delaying the formalization of the move, sources tell.

LSU executives and Lane Kiffin’s reps held a call after the Tigers game at OU to continue solidifying the deal with travel plans: The university is sending two planes to Oxford on Sunday for Kiffin, his family & others, sources tell @YahooSports.

Apparetly Ole Miss has seen the writing on the wall and has begun looking for a new coach.

According to earlier reports, LSU is set to offer Kiffin a seven-year deal worth $90 million with $25 millio/year budget for the roster.

Seems like LSU’s deal is too good for Kiffin to pass up.
