Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić turned in a virtuoso performance in the Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves, earning him series MVP. That virtuoso performance was not just in terms of his play, as he talked a lot of trash as well.
That boiled over into the stands on Thursday night, as Luka Dončić and a Timberwolves fan got into it in the middle of his 38-point, series-clinching performance.
Luka was cooking the Wolves from the start of the game, and a crowd that came into the game not fond of his admittedly constant complaining and begging for fouls was on him from the start.
As it became clear the Wolves, who fell behind 69-40 at halftime, were not going to get it done, Luka started to chirp back. Take a look.

It’s never great to be chirping with a fan. However, it appears that the fan was saying some pretty egregious stuff.

Man, what was this guy saying to Luka Dončić that was so bad? One could only guess, but it couldn’t have been great.
That being said, Luka has bigger fish to fry. The 25-year-old can cement himself as the best player on the planet if he leads the Dallas Mavericks to an upset over the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.
The 2024 NBA Finals begins next Thursday in Boston.
