In case you’ve been on a different planet the last few days, Luka Doncic is now a Los Angeles Laker. The Mavericks and Lakers pulled off a completely shocking trade that sent Doncic to the Lakers and Anthony Davis to the Mavericks, with the two teams exchanging other assets.
The trade, which is being called the most shocking trade in league history, has once again made the Los Angeles Lakers the face of the NBA. On Wednesday, a clip of Luka practicing as a Laker has fans in a frenzy.
Doncic has been out since late December with a calf strain, but was close to returning from the injury when he was traded just after midnight ET on Sunday. The Lakers expect him back this weekend against the Pacers.

First off, this clip puts in perspective just how good NBA players are. They’re shooting threes like the rest of us shoot foul shots. It’s incredible. Look at LeBron. He’s not going to be remembered as the best shooter ever or anything like that. But, he’s barely even hitting the rim here.

The Lakers still have holes, especially at center. But, they’re going to be really fun to watch the rest of the season.
