Madi Freeze and Hugh Freeze are a lot alike. Both the college football coach and his youngest daughter are not afraid to express their opinions on a public platform, like TikTok, which often leads to backlash.

The apple does not fall far from the tree.

Her latest comments on Auburn’s decision to move on from its head college football coach after less than three full years did not land as she might’ve hoped. They have since been deleted from her own personal account but the internet lives forever.

Hugh Freeze got fired.

Nobody wants to get fired in any situation. It has a major impact on not just your day-to-day life but the lives of people around you. Especially family.

With that being said, Hugh Freeze will get paid approximately $15 million not to work. It could be worse.

Auburn decided to cut ties with its head coach after just 34 games on Sunday. The Tigers finished below .500 over that stretch at 15-19. They will move forward with D.J. Durkin as the interim.

Freeze only responded to the announcement with a statement that appears to be written by a computer.

Freeze’s youngest daughter, Madi, took a different approach. She spilled all of the tea during a lengthy five-minute video on TikTok, which has since been deleted, and a follow-up video that has also been deleted.

In the first video, Madi Freeze claims that Auburn promised her father at least four years to get it figured out on the Plains. He obviously did not get four years.

She also peels back the curtain on the “reality of getting fired in the SEC.” It is an emotional rant.

Auburn fans were not particularly kind to the daughter of their former head coach in the comments. Other college football fans were equally as ruthless. Freeze hopes those people find Jesus.

Madi Freeze put her foot in her mouth.

The backlash to the videos was loud enough for her to take them down. But not before she tried to set the record straight about her upbringing! Freeze wants everybody to know the reality of her life.

“School was never free, I live in a house built in the 1900s, and I work and will continue to,” she said.

Don’t get me wrong. Being the child of a football coach is not easy. The Freeze family moved quite a few times between 2004-2012, which takes a real toll on psyche and function. Especially when your father is caught calling escorts on a university-issued cellphone right in the middle of that consistent change.

However, it is very clear that Madi Freeze is completely out of touch with reality.

School was never free, sure, but her father is a multimillionaire. Auburn University also offers a “50% tuition waiver for undergraduate-level courses to the spouses and dependents of full-time faculty and staff.” Hugh Freeze was a full-time staffer and his daughter graduated from the university. So…

Madi also talked about how she lived in a house built in the 1900s, as if the year in which her family’s multi-million-dollar mansion was built changes the fact that it is a multi-million-dollar mansion. They might also have a lake house.

Boohoo. If anyone wants to pay me $15 million not to work, I am more than willing to do so!

Much like when Madi Freeze mocked Kirby Smart’s timeout controversy, it would’ve been a much better idea not to post about her father’s ouster on TikTok in the first place. Ignorance to ignorance is bliss.
