Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been one of the steadiest players in the league since entering the NFL in 2017. While he may not necessarily be heading to the Hall of Fame, he’s certainly going to be a Ravens legend when it’s all said and done.

Cornerbacks are notorious for having a ton of self-confience, and Marlon Humphrey is no different. In fact, in NFL Network’s annual survey of players to figure out who will be on their annual “NFL 100” list, Marlon Humphrey ranked himself as the best player in the NFL.

Every year, just prior to the NFL season, NFL Network has a series of specials revealing the NFL’s top 100 players according to the players. Unbeknownst to me, and I’m sure many of you, is the fact that they actually send out next year’s survey at the conclusion of the previous regular season.

Prior to the 2024 season, NFL players named Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill as the best player in the league, with Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, and Myles Garrett rounding out the top five.

Humphrey was left off of the 2024 list, though he’s made the list three times before. That doesn’t bother him too much, as he thinks he ranked himself first-overall for next year’s list. Take a look.

It’s pretty funny that he even ranked himself over superstar teammates Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. But, that’s the kind of confidence that cornerbacks are known for.

Humphrey will look to put his money where his mouth is, so to speak, in the NFL Playoffs starting this weekend. The Ravens host the rival Steelers in the Wild Card Round on Saturday.
