Colts Mascot Stripped Naked During All-Out Brawl With 4th Grade Football Team After Ruthless Late Hit

Blue, the official mascot of the Indianapolis Colts, was stripped completely naked during a highly-competitive football game at halftime of Sunday Night Football in Minnesota. He also slipped past the Maple Grove defense and made an incredible touchdown catch shortly before losing his clothes.

It was a memorable night for the fourth graders, who held off a group of mascots from all over the country and left U.S. Bank Stadium with a victory!

For those who have no idea what I am talking about, let me back up. Every year, sometimes more than once per season, a youth team faces various mascots from various United States sports teams in a game of tackle football on the field of an NFL stadium in between the second and third quarters of an NFL game.

Mascot football is INTENSE!

This year’s matchup featured members of the Maple Grove Youth Football Association between the ages of eight and 10. They faced mascots from the Minnesota Vikings, Iowa Hawkeyes, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Aurora, among others.

Blue was among those others and they arrived in style!

Come halftime, Maple Grove jumped out to an early lead with an end-around to the edge.

They went up 14-0 on a double reverse shortly thereafter.

Maple Grove celebrated their second touchdown with a classic! Pay close attention to No. 3:

Blue was sick and tired of losing so he decided to take matters into his own hands. Literally. The Colts mascot made a slick diving catch in the back of the end zone to cut into the 3rd/4th graders’ lead.

Herky the Hawk absolutely WRECKED a kid who was trying to get down field and jump the route.

In desperate need of a defensive stop, Blue (who has a well-documented history of wrecking children) crashed into the backfield and made a huge tackle for loss. He immediately committed a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty by shoving the ball-carrier to the ground as he got back to his feet.

Maple Grove did not let him get away with the shove and a brawl broke out on the field.

Amidst the kerfuffle, a player ripped Blue’s jersey off of his back. Indianapolis’ mascot did not care that he was naked and shook his belly at the crowd, so the Minnesota Viking had to step in and cover him up!

If we’re being honest, the fight might’ve been staged. But that isn’t as fun so we can pretend it was real.

Either way, the little tykes got the job done and it was Maple Grove who proved victorious!
