Massive crowds across the country are gathering for the nationwide “No Kings” protest on Saturday. The demonstrations were timed on President Trump’s birthday, where he will be attending a military parade in Washington, D.C., to mark the Army’s 250th anniversary. At the same time, National Guard troops are deployed in Los Angeles to counter anti-ICE protests there.
“Instead of allowing this birthday parade to be the center of gravity, we will make action everywhere else the story of America that day: people coming together in communities across the country to reject strongman politics and corruption” organizers wrote.
“On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else.”
On Saturday, massive crowds could be seen forming in California, Tennessee, Florida, and several other states across the country.

Over 2,000 protesters showed up today in The Villages, Florida to say that America has No Kings. And when someone turned the sprinklers on, they stood their ground.
And no, not one person was paid to be there.
