Aaliyah Kikumoto, dubbed the “Masters Girl” after going viral multiple times this summer, has returned to Texas Tech and resumed her duties as a Red Raiders cheerleader.

For those who missed it, Kikumoto went viral during the Sunday afternoon round of the Masters this past April when a CBS camera spotted her in the gallery.

Kikumoto, from Denver, Colorado, caused quite a stir on social media with her parents even getting involved in her newfound notoriety.

A week later, Aaliyah was back on social media’s radar after she leaned into her new “Masters Girl” moniker by using it in captions on several of her TikTok videos.

One TikTok video in particular that caught viewers’ attention showed her taking some swings at the driving range and showing off pretty impressive form.

Her newfound fame even led to a special golf themed photoshoot on Instagram and being signed to do a couple of professional modeling shoots.

Now, with her summer break complete, Kikumoto has returned to the Texas Tech campus for her sophomore year, which, true to form, she has been sharing on social media channels like TikTok and Instagram.

“ACTION SHOTS,” Kikumoto wrote in the description of one TikTok video.

“We’re back,” Kikumoto wrote on Instagram.

What an unexpected summer she and her friends had, just because she happened to be in the gallery at the Masters at the absolute right time.
