Metallica band members Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield rocked the national anthem at Game 5 of the NBA Finals Sunday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif. The pair are from the Bay Area and are huge sports fans as they’ve performed the national anthem for various local teams over the years.
The whole anthem was amazing as both Hammett and Hetfield put their own “metal” twist in an instrumental version of the anthem.
