Dolphins $10 Million QB Jay Cutler Gets Destroyed By The Internet After Throwing 3 Interceptions In First Half

Before the start of the NFL season Jay Cutler was preparing for a cushy job as an NFL broadcaster when Dolphins franchise QB Ryan Tannehill suffered a season-ending knee injury in training camp.

According to Cutler he wasn’t even thinking about coming back to the NFL until his wife, Kristin Cavalleri, convinced him to return to the field.

“It was hard,” Cutler said. “It was hard. It was definitely hard. The last four months I’ve been in a different mode, different mind-set getting ready for the FOX deal. I was really pretty good with where I was in my life. I was around the kids a lot and felt pretty content. Weighed back and forth on this. I’d probably say my wife Kristine probably talked me into it more than anybody else could.”

“I think she got tired of me being around the house.”

For whatever reason the Dolphins thought paying a washed up Cutler $10 million was a good idea.,

The ex-Bears quarterback was slated to earn between $400,000 and $450,000 this season as Fox’s No. 2 game analysts, sources tell Sporting News.

When the Dolphins (and Cutler’s favorite coach, Adam Gase) came knocking with a $10 million, one-year offer, it wasn’t tough to convince Cutler to put on the pads again.

“I think everyone knew there was a chance Jay would go back to football. He never seemed totally into (TV),” said one source. “Fox was paying him less than $500K. You cant blame him for taking $10 million.”

Today, Cutler got crushed by the Internet after throwing three interceptions in the first half of his game against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
