Michael Bisping Destroys ‘S— Show’ Jake Paul For Only Fighting Much Smaller Opponents

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is sick and tired of the “s— show” that is Jake Paul and his hand-picked opponents.

Paul claimed a TKO victory over former UFC welterweight Mike Perry on Saturday night, moving his professional boxing record to 10–1. But Perry fought most of his UFC career as a small welterweight (170 pounds), while Paul needed to cut to 200 pounds for the fight.

Bisping is tired of Paul’s antics and his clever fight selection.

“That was a farce. That was ridiculous, that fight should never even have taken place in the first place because it was a s— show,” Bisping began.

“Technically it wasn’t a good fight. Technically it wasn’t a good performance. Technically a lot of other boxers out there are going to be looking at that and kind of laughing.

“Somebody with the same size, the same build, with the same strength and power of the same experience, would have had a field day with him,” Bisping said on his YouTube channel. “He was all over the place. His feet were crossing all over the place. He was swinging. It was wild, it was reckless, okay?

“The s— show continues. Jake Paul calls out (UFC light heavyweight champion) Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira. Jake Paul says he wants to challenge himself, okay? So, he calls out Alex Pereira, who he knows damn well that fight will never materialize. So, of course, he’s going to call him out.”

Paul is still scheduled to fight Mike Tyson later this year. But Tyson is 58 years and is dealing with multiple health conditions.

Bisping makes several valid points. But could he also be angling for a shot in the ring with Paul?

After Paul criticized all MMA fighters prior to the fight with Perry, Bisping hinted as a return to combat sports.

“That almost makes me want to come out of retirement and smash this guy’s f—— face in. I hope Mike Perry does it. There are so many great boxers from the world of Mixed Martial Arts that would whoop this guy’s a–,” he said at the time.

Bisping fought at both middleweight and light heavyweight (205) in his UFC career. So maybe it’s time for Paul to step into the ring with somebody his own size.
