Michael Jordan Is ‘Pretty Sure’ He Could Beat Hornets Players 1-on-1

Even at 52-years-old,Michael Jordan still thinks he can hang with current NBA players.

During an interview with France’s L’Equipe, Jordan was asked if he still plays one-on-one with Hornets players, and his answer probably wouldn’t surprise you.

L’Equipe: Do you think you can play against some of your guys right now? Do you sometimes do that or not? Could you win on one-on-ones against them?

Jordan: I’m pretty sure I can, so I don’t want to do that and demolish their confidence. So I stay away from them, I let them think they’re good…but I’m too old to do that anyway.

When I first heard Jordan say he thought he could beat his players one-on-one I thought he was delusional. But then I remembered that video that leaked a few months ago of him playing in the Bahamas and even though he looked slow, his shot was still money. .

He also did beat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a game of one-on-one just a few years ago, so there’s a good possibility that Jordan would probably still be competitive against anyone on the Hornets roster.
