Yankees 3B Miguel Andujar was reportedly beaten robbed at gunpoint at a farm he owns in the Dominican Republic earlier this week, just as Andujar was preparing to leave for Spring Training in Tampa, Florida.

There aren’t many details yet, but reports suggest he is in stable condition after being attacked and robbed. The attackers apparently made off with a $7,000 wristwatch owned by Miguel Andujar as well as an SUV owned by Miguel’s father and several gunshots were reportedly fired in the altercation.

Andujar is scheduled to arrive at the New York Yankees’ Spring Training facility in Tampa on Saturday just days before games begin next week.

Miguel Andujar is 27-years-old this season which is considered to be the PEAK age for MLB players. He only appeared in 45 games for the Yankees in the 2021 season but managed to hit .253 in 162 plate appearances.

In Miguel’s rookie season back in 2018 he appeared in 149 games where he had a red-hot bat (.297 batting average).
