Nick Saban made his debut on the College Gameday desk in Ireland ahead of Saturday’s season-opener between Georgia Tech and Florida State. His legendary wife, Miss Terry, joined the greatest coach of all-time in Dublin and made sure to let the crowd know that he is taken!

It was a hilarious moment that really set the tone for the new era of the show.

Saban, 72, first met Miss Terry at a science camp in the seventh grade. Even though they went to different schools, they both grew up in nearby rural Appalachia so their paths crossed often. One thing led to another and they’ve been married for more than 50 years. She has played a crucial role in his career, both as a confidant for her husband, and as a recruiter. Players love her. Everybody loves her!

Pat McAfee gave coach Saban an opportunity to speak about his wife during their live show from a famous Irish pub on Friday. While doing so, the former NFL punter (who had already chugged a lot of Guinness at that point) grabbed her hand and they did a little jig.

There wasn’t a whole lot to do in small town West Virginia, but the firehouse would clear out every Friday for a countywide dance. As a result, Miss Terry and her husband have pretty good rhythm— especially the matriarch. She put her skills on display in Dublin!

Less than 24 hours later, Saban joined McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Rece Davis on Gameday for the first time. A woman in the front row of the crowd shot her shot at the newest member of the crew with a sign that referenced the viral ‘Man In Finance’ TikTok trend.

Miss Terry wasn’t having any of it and gave a polite finger wag to shut her down!

College Gameday is back. Football season is upon us. Nick Saban has arrived.

Just don’t try to steal him from Miss Terry!
