Although Mississippi State was favored in its college basketball game against Texas A&M on Tuesday night, it was the lower-ranked team in terms of standings. Thus, students stormed onto the court in Starkville when the final buzzer closed out the Bulldogs’ 16-point victory.

One student actually managed to make his way into the locker room to join in on the postgame celebration.

Mississippi State entered the game ranked as the No. 21 team in college basketball while Texas A&M was No. 7. However, the former was actually favored by 2.5 points at the Hump. Even though the sportsbooks knew what was coming, they did not expect as big of a blowout as it was. The Bulldogs won 70-54!

Fans, mostly students, stormed the court to celebrate the win. It was incredible scenes that even featured an impromptu dance party.

Things eventually died down and Mississippi State players returned to the locker room. Upon arrival, they discovered an unexpected guest. A student — who uses the moniker ‘Ralph Mansfield’ as part of the larger #burnerverse — managed to make his way up the tunnel, past security, and into the team facility. He even captured a video from behind the scenes.

KeyShawn Murphy was the first person to notice that ‘Ralph’ was part of the team celebration. The video cuts off right as the redshirt junior forward pointed him out.

It is unclear how this saga came to a conclusion. ‘Ralph’ either received a swift escort out of the locker room or quickly retreated back to safety on his own before the authorities stepped in to do so forcibly.

Regardless of the eventual outcome, a Mississippi State student managed to sneak into the locker room after storming the court to celebrate a top-10 win. That’s hilarious. The university will surely increase its security measures to ensure that this kind of thing does not happen again but it was pretty awesome.
