Umpire CB Bucknor is having a rough month.
Over the weekend, Bucknor went viral after six of his eight calls were overturned by ABS.
During the game, Bucknor had back-to-back strike calls overturned.
CB Bucknor, a member of a major-league umpiring crew since 1999, had eight calls challenged and a whopping six overturned — including this sequence.

On Tuesday, Bucknor found himself in another embarrassing situation.
During the Rays-Brewers game, the Rays overthrew the ball to first base following a base hit by Jake Bauers. Bauers clearly touched first base during the play, but was called out by Bucknor, who appeared to be tracking the ball that went into the dugout instead of looking at the plate.
The call was immediately overturned on replay, and everyone on the field was seen laughing at Bucknor.

Fans ripped into Bucknor and want him fired.
Genuinely think this might be the worst call from an umpire I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s completely baffling in a way that I find staggering. https://t.co/0BxgAHjPoZ
