UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones appears to be getting close to the 265 heavyweight limit.

Back in March, Jones’ weighed in at 248 pounds, the heaviest of his career, for his title fight against Ciryl Gane.

Jones felt like 248 pounds was the perfect weight for his fighting career.

“I feel like it’s an ideal weight,” Jones said. “I have my endurance. I have my speed, explosiveness. I still jump high and shoot on takedowns very quickly.

“Whatever I got to do, you know? I feel good. I feel like a heightened version of my light heavyweight self.”

A few months after the fight, Jones appears to have gained a bit of weight during his time off.

On Saturday night, Jones gave a red carpet interview during an event at Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar in Las Vegas, where he urged Dana White to set up a boxing match between him and Tyson Fury.

“I would love it if Dana could make that fight happen,” “That’s one thing about the UFC, we always give the fans what they want to see.

“Tyson Fury is just such a magnificent opponent, and it would be awesome to make that fight happen. I’m up for it, and I’d even be willing to box him. Let’s see what happens.”

The video of Jones’ interview went viral, and fans noted how much bigger Jones looks these days.
