MMA fighter Ray Cooper III wasn’t going to let his hair cost him a chance at $1 million.
During his weigh-in on Tuesday ahead of the PFL championships, fans noticed Cooper missing his signature long hair.

According to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani Cooper had been growing his hair for nine years and chopped it off to make weight for his PFL championship fight against Magomed Magomedkerimov.
It took Cooper 9 years to grow out his hair.

Cooper is set to fight Magomedkerimov in the $1 million PFL championships on Wednesday night live on ESPN 2.
