Once upon a time, before MMA was regulated by an athletic commission in the US, fighters were allowed to kick their opponents in the heads. This type of kick was referred to as “the soccer kick”. Most MMA organizations have done away with the soccer kick except for one, ONE FC, which operates out of Asia.
At yesterday’s ONE FC: Clash of Heroes event, Geje Eustaquio viciously knocked out Saiful Merican with one of those soccer kicks and my god was it violent.

Saiful took the kick like a champ and was able to get right back up like nothing happened.
