Mexican MMA fighter Lucero Acosta, who fights for Combate Global, is a rising star in the sport.
Acosta, better known as “la loba” which translates to “she-wolf”, has a 3-2 record and recently defeated Mariel Celimen at a Combate Global event in September.
Acosta is proud of her Mexican heritage and hopes to continue fighting to make her country proud.

“I hope many doors open for me, I want to keep fighting and continue, raise the flag of Mexico and tell all the women that we can,” said Acosta. “I feel powerful when I raise the flag, it’s amazing, it’s unexplainable.”
While Acosta is aiming to make a name for herself inside the cage, she also has a thriving modeling career.
