Mexican MMA star/model Lucero Acosta is set to make her return to the Combate Global cage on August 5th against Silvia Juaneda.

Acosta, nicknamed “la loba,” which translates to “she-wolf,” has a 3-2 record and recently defeated Mariel Celimen at a Combate Global event in September.
Acosta was supposed to fight again in April but unfortunately suffered a hand injury, and her fight was pushed back.

“I took some x-rays, and it showed that it is broken,” she said. “Doctor’s told me that the bone didn’t move. If it did it would have consisted of surgery, but it did not. He told me it could be six weeks until I get better,” she said.
Acosta is now healthy and shared a pool workout video on social media that got fans buzzing.
