Molly McCann came into today absolutely pumped to be once again fighting in her home country and it showed from the second she started her walk to the cage. that excitement also translated to an exciting performance.

McCann came out firing right from the opening bell and she had Luana Carolina hurt early. She went absolutely berserk trying to finish the fight, but was unable to get the finish. She continued grinding from there, landing a couple of takedowns and piling up significant strikes.

Carolina made the fight much more competitive in the next couple of rounds and the tide appeared to really be turning in round 3, but McCann had other ideas. In the third round, the two were fighting in close when McCan started setting herself up for a spinning attack. McCann unloaded a monster spinning elbow that Carolina was completely unprepared for.

Carolina crumbled from the huge shot and McCann jumped the cage to celebrate with her hometown fans.
