This clip is part of a new series from Whistle named ‘Reload My Room’. The concept reminds me of MTV’s Pimp My Ride from yesteryear where celebrities surprise someone with a cool makeover.

It’s clear that Diego Banuelos has a special personality. His high school’s Rocket League coach and MMG both gush about how infectious Diego’s great moods are.

While it’s not exactly clear how wealthy MMG is from YouTube earnings we can connect some dots. MMG currently has 2.01 MILLION subscribers and the channel has amassed 732,568,477 views.

Professional athletes routinely appear on his YouTube channel and MMG recently moved to Hawaii. Life is good for him these days and that means it’s a perfect time to give back.

When they arrive at Diego’s home and survey his gaming room it looks similar to how my bedroom was back in the day…not great. The room was in need of an immediate upgrade. The main strategy was to maximize functionality and utilize every inch of usable space.

MMG talks about sharing a room with his brother and how altering something simple about the layout completely changed the room. This is something everyone who has ever shared a room with a sibling knows well.

I never officially shared a room with my older brother. He had a room down the hall. But I remember getting a new bunk bed and it felt like my whole world had changed. We could then have ‘sleepovers’ in my room and stay up playing Mortal Kombat until our eyes began to bleed.

It is cool to see how MMG’s alterations of the room also kept Diego’s brother in mind. And the finished product is nothing short of spectacular.

The custom $15,000 gaming setup includes a custom paint job, backdrop, all new gear for Diego’s desk. The new gear is all RGB to create a cool lighting effect in the room. I’m rarely jealous of someone else’s setup but that new microphone is incredible.

MMG didn’t need to include the Street Fighter II Champion Edition arcade game but it’s the cherry on top. If there’s one thing to be incredibly jealous of in this video, it’s that old-school arcade setup.
