Pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis has broken his own world record once again, this time at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Silesia. It represented the 10th time(!) he’s set a new world best.
Duplantis set the previous mark not so long ago in Paris while competing in the Summer Olympics. That 6.25-meter leap helped him land a gold medal.
To celebrate, he and model girlfriend Desire Inglander partied into the wee hours of the night in France.
The party is going to be pretty big. Not much sleep, a lot of partying, a good time.

It seems the party has continued on throughout the summer.
This week, Duplantis and Inglander found themselves in Central Europe as the pole vaulter prepped for competition in Poland. The Olympian detailed some of their adventures throughout the area prior to Sunday’s event.

When it came time to get back on the track, though, he was all business.
Mondo Duplantis broke his own world record.
It likely sounds like a broken record at this point. He continues to top his own world bests at what seems like every event.
Much of that is due to a record-breaking “hack” that’s allowed him to bank a total of $1M in bouses.
Rather than shattering the record, Duplantis opts to set the bar just one centimeter (the minimal amount possible) above the current world record, knowing he’s almost assured of clearing the bar.
He used that strategy once again on Sunday, beating his previous mark by one centimeter at 6.26-meters.
