Mondo Duplantis broke his own world record in pole vault, again. The 26-year-old track and field legend managed to triple down on his infinite money hack during his most recent jump.

He cashed in on yet another six-figure bonus while promoting his own song at his own event.

No other athlete in track and field is doing what Duplantis keeps doing. It has made him very rich!

Mondo Duplantis is the greatest pole vaulter of all-time.

There may not be a single athlete in the world who is more dominant at his or her craft. Mondo Duplantis has won 22 gold medals in pole vault at championship events with only one silver and two bronze.

He has won 38 consecutive competitions dating back to August 2023.

Not only has Duplantis not lost in almost three years, he owns the 15 highest jumps in history. The Swedish pole vaulter broke his own world record for the 14th time on Thursday at 6.31 meters.

  • 2020 – 6.17m
  • 2020 – 6.18m
  • 2022 – 6.19m
  • 2022 – 6.20m
  • 2022 – 6.21m
  • 2023 – 6.22m
  • 2023 – 6.23m
  • 2024 – 6.24m
  • 2024 – 6.25m
  • 2024 – 6.26m
  • 2025 – 6.27m
  • 2025 – 6.28m
  • 2025 – 6.29m
  • 2025 – 6.30m
  • March 12, 2026 — 6.31m

Nobody can touch him. Only Sergey Bubka of Ukraine has broken the record more times back in the 1980s and 90s before track and field’s governing body allowed for the record to be broken either indoors or outdoors. His highest jump ever was .16 meters less than Duplantis’ most recent.

To put his win into perspective, the second-place finisher on Thursday only cleared 6.00 meters. The third-place finishers tapped out at 5.90 meters. Duplantis went .31 meters higher.

The world record money hack continues.

A casual observe of the pole vault might wonder why Mondo Duplantis only beats his own world record by 0.01 each time. There is a reason for the slow progression.

World Athletics pays a bonus of $100,000 to every track and field athlete that breaks a world record.

Even though Duplantis could probably go much higher, it would be financially irresponsible to do so. He even admitted that he intentionally tries to cash in on the infinite money glitch by raising the bar by only centimeter each time!

The most recent record was even better for his wallet.

Duplantis jumped 6.31 meters at an event with his name on it, the Mondo Classic. I cannot say for certain but I would imagine he gets paid to host the event— on top of the $100,000 bonus for the world record.

Duplantis also jumped 6.31 meters with his own song playing in the background.

Even if it does not put any money directly in his pocket, Duplantis is gaining even more exposure as an artist by playing his own song during his world record jump. The video of his latest feat has been viewed more than a million times across various platforms. That is just putting more ears on his music.

Puma also pays Duplantis a bonus for every world— so really, he quadrupled down! Cha-ching!
