You’d be hard-pressed to find many NFL fans who aren’t familiar with Myles Garrett—just like you’d be hard-pressed to find many who could tell you what team Roger Rosengarten plays for. The latter essentially acknowledged that reality when he referred to himself as a “nobody” while asking the Browns star for his jersey, and the six-time Pro Bowler hit him with an incredibly classy response before hooking him up.

You don’t pursue a career as an offensive lineman if you’re looking for fame and glory, as there isn’t a single position in the sport of football with a bigger divide between the importance of the role you play and the recognition you receive for doing your job well (although you can guarantee you’re going to be painted as a scapegoat if you do it poorly).

It’s safe to assume Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten is familiar with that reality, although his decision to go that route led to him inking a four-year deal worth more than $6 million after the team selected the former Washington Husky in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

The rookie has been tasked with preventing a number of notable names from getting their hands on Lamar Jackson during his inaugural campaign, but there aren’t many guys who stand out more than Myles Garrett, the formidable DT who had yet another stellar season for the Browns while recording 47 tackles (including 40 solo takedowns) and 14 sacks.

On Saturday, Cleveland capped off its disappointing season against the Ravens with a 35-10 loss on the road, and Hard Knocks captured an awesome moment that transpired when Rosengarten decided to shoot his shot by asking Garrett for his jersey while acknowledging the request came from “a nobody”—an assertion his opponent quickly shot down by reminding him he’s in a league comprised of the best players on the planet.
