NBA fans aren’t happy with the way NBA commissioner is handling the rapidly deteriorating Covid situation within the league.
Earlier this week, Seth Curry tested positive for Coronavirus which led to several Sixers players being forced to sit out due to contract tracing and put Saturday’s game vs the Nuggets jeopard.
Despite the fact that the Sixers are severely shorthanded, the NBA insisted that they play their game against the Nuggets instead of postponing it.
No organization wants to play a game w/ eight players, especially against an opponent like Denver. Sixers might prefer postponement, but NBA's under pressure to keep a balanced playing field for each team faced w/ these situations in pandemic. This will be a recurring instance.

The Sixers will be forced to play with seven players on Saturday afternoon after Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid sat out with injury.
Sixers are planning to list Embiid out with back tightness and Simmons with left knee swelling, sources tell ESPN. Neither will play today. Mike Scott will be upgraded to available, source said.

Mike Scott will go through warmups, but is unlikely to play today, sources tells ESPN. Essentially, he's needed to wear a uniform on bench to avoid a forfeit. The Sixers are preparing to play with seven players vs. Denver today.

To give you a sense of how weird it is to see a 7 man team come out for pregame warmups… #Sixers pic.twitter.com/x4G6v1umEV

The #NBA has done a crap job with this situation with the #Sixers, they should have postponed the game but they just don't want to care about player safety
Terrible Job by Adam Silver
