Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in NBA, and is quickly ascending into an all-time great. The back-to-back MVP winner from the last two seasons is probably the best front-court passer in the history of the game and is a one-man offensive efficiency machine.

Watching him play is like watching poetry in motion. He’s no physical specimen by any means, but his natural feel for the game is unparalleled, and as of right now he’s averaging a triple-double, an incredible feat for a center.

But, the Nuggets are struggling right now, and Jokic is getting fried for it. The team is still well out in front in the race for the Western Conference’s first seed, but they’ve lost four in a row after falling to the Raptors last night to fall to 46-23. Denver is giving up 123 points a game over that stretch, and people online are blaming Jokic’s less-than-stellar defense. Let’s take a look at some lowlights.

Yeah, these clips aren’t good. And, his MVP odds are back down to just -120 after they were much higher just a few weeks ago. But, I’m going to continue to enjoy the genius that is Nikola Jokić. He’s too good to hate.
