With the hiring of Hue Jackson by the Cleveland Browns, the Johnny Manziel era is officially over in Cleveland.
Accoding to ESPN, the former Bengals offensive coordinator made sure that Johnny would be let go from the Browns before taking the job as Browns head coach.
According to a source close to the situation, the topic of Manziel was discussed at length in meetings between Jackson and Browns ownership. In those discussions, Jackson indicated that he would prefer the organization move on from Manziel if he were to become head coach, and he was told that would not be a problem.
Personally, I’m looking forward to Johnny Football going to the Cowboys and partying with his boy Jerry Jones at 3am the night before a game. It’s time for the real Johnny to be unleashed.
